47- Hu's Plan.

We dissolve to Hu, overwhelmed by fatigue, planning her next move. Suddenly she focuses on the Photonic Demultiplier, she reaches the device and starts to study its operation. The nanobot is docked in a tube, and Hu remembers the Cryogenic Dispenser the Zymachi where took from at the beginning. Thirty years of work! Maybe inside the dispenser there is something that can be of help. Hu scans on a data base previous projects by Kerenskij, and finds a Genetic Tumor Killer, code name Apoptosis. She tracks the Sinthovirus in the dispenser...

...places the tube on the anti-vibration support, dips the needle inside and then grabs the commands. We see the nanobot exiting from the tip of the needle, Hu has problems stabilizing it, but finally points a little bit steadier towards the synthovirus, signaled by guiding lights. We follow some of the actions through Hu's point of view, so we experience the difficulty to follow a straight path. Right in front of Apoptosis, Hu tries to grab it, but all movements lead to rotation of the nanobot, so the young woman has to compensate acting on the pedals that control the turbines.

After several attempts the device is secured, and the long antenna on wich it stands is cut off. Nanobot is pulled back in the needle, Hu leaves the commands and takes the small gun and a syringe, heading towards Kerenskij's studio.

48- The Fight.

He sits showing his back, curved on large sheets of paper that represent Proteena's genome. He connects sectors with lines creating a very complex drawing that occupies the entire wall of the room. Hu approaches silently, gun and syringe hidden behind her. Suddenly she calls him.

He's a lightning, transfigurated. He throws a heavy laptop twirling across the room and hitting her on a shoulder. The gun gets tossed out of reach. Before she can react he's over her, fast and vigorous, like in the afghan days...

...knocks her down and prepares to strangle, but the needle has entered his shoulder, he weakens and slumps to the ground.
