45- Kerenskij laughs facing Death.
	Hu switches off the machine and wakes up Kerenskij with a second injection. He looks at her questioning. "Zymachi signaled a cancer, it's in your brain, and it grows incredibly fast..." Kerenskij laughs, a sinister grin that worries the chinese, then he stops and takes her hand, "It's eating my amygdala, maybe that's why I feel no fear..." Hu:- "You scared me..." Kerenskij:- "It wasn't me laughing, it was them..." and he points his head, "Don't talk to me anymore, I can't hide my thoughts from them, I can't help you..."
	"Take this..." and he gets a small gun from under his pillow, "You may need it..." then he stands up, and gets back to Proteena's genome diagrams.
	Hu leaves the room locking the door. She is anguished.
46- The Little Spiky.
	We are back in Zymachi Jellywhale, the Mermaid has disappeared, Proteena is in her mid-Traveller state. Among her hair is cradled a baby Cycledweller, propably a Spiky, even if it's hard to recognize them when they are so small. Proteena talks about the Mermaid state, and the feelings related to it. She felt the need to dance with her sisters, and the egg provided by the Soldier was expected as a revelation, but gave her a sense of confusion and loss. "Now, as a Traveler, I feel the urgence to take this baby where he belongs, do you think we can find a colony of Outer Fathers somewhere in the Mine?"
	"And the Warlord's Fortress? How can we find the Free Machine? Probably Cycledwellers defend it, and hide it some way, organizing diversionary attacks to confuse Jellyfish, some Soldiers will be sacrificed in peripherial sectors, decoys will be used, we need help from Central Unit."
